Our Program

Children at Village Child Care LLC given the opportunity to explore, experiment and create in a safe nurturing and stimulating environment, they enjoy children and staff of different cultures and ethnic backgrounds. To enhance learning in our program, we incorporate multi-cultural, anti-biased activities.

Our program uses the Creative Curriculum for Infants, Toddlers and Preschool as its foundation for planning and assessment. Staff teach children using developmentally appropriate practice, project approach, and based curriculum. Explorations are based on a balance children’s interests and teacher selected topics.

We also adopted SPARK EC Fitness Curriculum to provide children ages 2-5 with high, academically integrated, enjoyable movement opportunities that foster social and motor development and enhance school readiness skills.

The Good For Me! curriculum engages children three to five years old in healthy eating and physical activity by introducing them to a diverse range of fruits and vegetables, hands-on activities and active play. The ultimate goal is to improve children’s nutrition and health outcomes by providing a research and evidence-based curriculum that connects to and is reflective of their families, cultures and communities.

We use information gained from developmental screening (ASQ 3) and ASQ SE and ongoing assessment TS GOLD to insure children’s changing needs are met we plan our curriculum and make adjustment based on children’s interests and results from both screening and assessment tools.
